When I played this game, it automatically started omitting the word on the index card. It also automatically started having you spell the words in Italian then looking for the translation. I don't know it this game always does this or if it's student driver according to ability. It's a good practice for my spellings. I don't let the kids read, write, or spell foreign languages until they have proven great English skills in all those areas., i start with foreign languages young... use as you deem the child ready....
